Why no child skeletons?
I've only found one in the whole game so far, but then it could've just been a small person.

When they created fallout 1,not betha....We could child killing.A lot of people were questionning the fact that we could do this back 90s.After a patch, they removed it and from that moment,we never say anything related to child killing and child death in any other fallout game.

It just seems stupid, bombs fell, 90% of the population died but no kids.

So kids are off limits, but brutal killings of other people isn't.

Whats wrong with this politically correct, nanny state world these days.

Not as bad as Germany and Aus. Have you seen their version of L4D2? But I do agree. All the Fallouts have the highest restrictions for violence, gore, language, drug usage, innuendo, partial nudity, etc.

Simply having childern's skeletons, or just a few in a well thought setting, would really give people the willies.

There are actually a few 'child' skeletons, but you have to look very hard to find them.

However, when you do find them, you'll find that the proportions are a bit odd, because the skeletons are just scaled-down adult skeletons, which means the head might be too big. Given the context, however, they are definitely meant to be children.

Why you want dead children in your game?

There was some in Fallout 3. Ex. in the library with the BoS there is a kindergaten room with quite some. Strange they are left out? Havent't thought about it has had thought's when finding toys and childrens room's but no skeleton. For immersion they are somewhat important. But that is just my thought's

One of my favorite memories of Fallout 2 was an assination mission, where I was able to pickpocket a child and plant a timed explosive device on them to kill their father.

That has NOTHING to do with political correctness.

It is more morally objectible and just plain sick and twisted to have such a desire to (even virtually) harm or even murder children. You have to be a very morally bankrupt individual to desire such a thing.

I know you are going to ask "but why? It isn't any different than an adult" but it is dude, it just is different.

Children are innocent, pure, without sin or crime. They have yet to live life, they have yet to get to the point of making many choices of their own volition. To snuff that out, to destory that innocence and potential is just evil.

At least the kids are not little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like in previous Bethesda games.

Wouldn't it be a nanny state if the government forced them to not include child skeletons? Seems to be an artistic direction decision, more than anything. As far as I can find, they weren't forced to do anything
