Well Rested ?

Built a bed at red rocket truck stop, and I'm not getting the well rested bonus.

Is that normal ?

If you're playing on survival you need to sleep for about 8 hours on a comfortable enough bed.

Not playing survival, just a normal play through, but after 8 hours sleep all I get is lovers embrace and no well rested.

Lovers Embrace is a direct upgrade to Well Rested and gives 5% more XP. You won't get both for obvious reasons.

I've been getting both at the dugout inn, 15% for Lovers Embrace, and 10% from Well Rested.

Plus Piper and a squrrel stew, idiot savant trigger on new discovered location gives me 279 xp.

Well they both appear as seperate perks in the pipboy, plus lovers embrace can be gained after 1 hour of rest.

Also don't have mods installed.

I am aware that they would if both procced because they are seperate perks. My point being, Lovers Embrace is supposed to overwrite Well Rested whenever possible and your having both is a glitch.

actually it should if its a bed (not matress or sleeping bag) and you need to sleep for at least 6 hours

He isn't playing on survival. On any other difficulty you get the bonus from just 1 hour of sleep on an owned bed.

I need more than 1 hour to gain well rested, its more like 8 hours.

But you only need 1 hour to get the lovers embrace.

Covenent beds give both well rested and lovers embrace, guessing wiki may be wrong and that both buffs should be given to all owned beds created but doesn't.
