Wild Wasteland is psuedo-canon.
WW content was stuff that was going to be in the game, but was deemed *too* silly or would seem dated in the future (The Fridge). Instead of cutting the content, they offered an Opt-In.
So in that sense, it's all non-canon *until* it's mentioned by someone else.
Since Beth wants to sell the Zetans so hard, certainly seems that particular matter is official.
