Brotherhood or institute!!!!

I've joined both. I just want to know who I should stick with in the end. Just tell me what happens in each ending. Will I get any rare items or weapons (which ending gives the better ones). And also who do you think is less evil. Feel free to spoil

Who is less evil. well. One kidnaps people and replaces them with robots. and one doesn't.

Brotherhood is underwhelming and pretty empty with you only becoming sentinel (one rank below leader), with the Institute you become the leader!

Both are equally Evil and Good.They both think what they are doing is right.


On one hand,The Brotherhood of Steel side of me want to say "AD VICTORIAM!" to say the Brotherhood is less evil.



But on the other hand?Brotherhood wants to take technology away from the human race.They even have a giant robot that 1 hits everything.They are the true monsters.They want us all to be Tribal once more while they are flying Space ships to seperate Galaxies(?).

I'm not going to spoil anything. Just depends on who you think in the right or wrong. Personally, I think The BoS is just wrong. The Institute, yes they kidnap and do experiements. But it's to rebuild. So one act is evil, but is it? Many say The Institute is Evil, I don't see it that way.

As for unique weapons, I'd say choosing the Institute will give you better ones, as you'll have to kill Maxson and he drops his unique weapon (Final Justice, a mega nitro awesome gatling laser) and his coat, just make sure you kill him in an accessible place and loot him quickly. You can even use his power armor with the Elder paint.

Additionally, by choosing the Institute, you'll get a new paint for the X-01 power armor (full white, gives extra INT).

Edit: as for the "who's more evil" question, that's totally subjective. One could say even the Railroad is evil for caring more about synths than real people.

Both factions have serious attitude problems if you are a decent human being. Both see other groups as existing merely to serve the chosen ones (BOS, I). Only the MM have a truly enlightened attitude towards the Commonwealth. However, to your specific question: Institute offers much better completion rewards. Especially if you don't like getting shot out of the sky when riding a vertibird :)

Great!!! Institute for me. I think the brotherhood seem kinda smug and they just look like they want to run things in the commonwealth the way they want to. The institute is making progress, improving mankind with their technology and not to mention....... They have functional toilets.

not to mention they have piper on their "to kill and replace" list...and if you finish with their ending, she gets replaced (why else would someone who is that adamant about the institute write a paper on how good they are?!)
