Sleeping is making me more tired?
Not sure if this is a bug or not but whenever I sleep (in a sleeping bag or a crappy bed) I wake up more tired and now my character is fatigued and can only walk. anybody else dealing with this? BTW I love survival mode so far: lack of quick saves and fast travel make the game much more immersive my only issue is the insta heal for enemies and this bed issue...

The type of bed you're sleeping in limits the length of time you are able to sleep, thereby limiting how much you can recover. Real beds – which are hard to come by in the world – offer the highest bonuses for sleeping; this rewards you for working out of a home base or even spending the caps for a good night’s sleep.

Also, finding a sleeping bag in the middle of a dungeon will feel great… finding a dirty mattress will feel even better… finding a real bed will be like winning the lottery.

I understand the system I just dont understand why sleeping for 3 hours is having a negitive effect. It should help you a little bit rather than make you more tired

are you sure the fatigue isn't because of hunger/thirst?

I noticed this seemed to happen the first few times I slept. It was a framed bed too, so it's not because of the quality.

nope, thats why I'm thinking it might be a bug

Yup fist time out of Valut 111 I went to the bed in the cellar in Sanctuary Hills and saved the game. And I kept sleeping and getting more tired. I kind assumed it was a bug, and decided to wait until it got fixed.

I slept in a bed I just crafted and no fatigue. So it could be player crafted bed and Inn beds only. It seems that any other bed you find is just for a save point.

that or the level of "rest" is messured by the type of bed.

This. Check to makesure you're not suffering from those, cos sleeping causes time to pass and your hunger/thirst rise as time passes, right?

Could be, also I just looked at the chemistry bench seems you can craft some herbal items that help with certain conditions, one of them being fatigue. The materials for them seem to be those wild plants you find out in the world.

I just ended up crawling to a settlement and sleeping in a bed. Like I said I fully understand the way it is supposed to work I was just curious If anybody else was dealing with the same issue. Its a hot topic on the official forums so Im sure they will fix it, till then keep your settlments in good shape!

eat and drink purified water then after go back in bed for more then 6 hours and you should be less tired

The system is broken. You can be more tired after sleeping for one hour then before you layed to rest.

The sleeping thing is not well designed. If i sleep 3 hours i should be less tired no matter what...
