What happened to gore and dismemberment?

Ok, So I'm really frustrated right now, I love this game and I'm really enjoying the survival beta but there's no longer and gore and dismemberment for some reason and that frustrates the hell out of me! What gives??

No, but then I never did and I was still able to blow people's heads off now there's nothing.. I can't be the only one experiencing this

Maybe you turned gore off by accident?
Go to fallout4.ini, place or find bDisableAllGore, make sure it's bDisableAllGore=0

I've noticed it happening less and less since WW, but then again I can't compare to you as I have Bloody Mess. Maybe they removed it for those that don't have the perk?

I thought maybe that was the case but I checked that and that's not the problem *shrug*

Dunno maybe, it was my understanding that bloody mess just made everything like over the top gorey, ya know, like you shoot someone with a 10mm and their arm comes off or something

by gore do you mean blood effects ? I don't have bloody mess perk but I still see the blood

I've noticed it's been happening less and less too. Killing people (what do you do most of the game) has become painfully boring now. No gore, no collision on the gore chunks, it's pathetic!

Fallout 3 and New Vegas' gore was much, much better.

Nah the blood's there but I miss being able to take of people's heads and stuff that's all, for some reason despite my best efforts I can't do that now

I'm playin on normal level, and I'm gettin lot's of gibs, and no mods either. Playin 1st time through clean. Maybe it's the beta?

No I'm getting gore, although on higher difficulty levels gore happens less often due to tougher limbs. So maybe you just need to do more damage? Shoot them up after they die.

Try shooting some low level ones at corvega or something, higher level mobs are harder to jib without extra damage perks and even then their tough.

I've actually been exeriencing the opposite. It seems like all the bad guys and creatures are exploding around me. Then again, I've started doing melee lately...
