Too dark

the game is extreamly dark since i have gotten a new monitor and i cant find the brightness setting i hope im not being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ because its pissing me off.
Where is the brightness setting?
oh and my monitor is normaly very bright infact when it shows white like on google it hurts my eyes
i was going to attach a sceenshot but it dont work like that XD

it might be the contrast of your monitor that is too strong making whites very bright and blacks very dark.

TBH have you tried the tweaking the monitor itself (as in doing it on the hardware)? There might be a few settings you could try there..

i cant figure out the buttons on the monitor so i have left them alone

o figured out how to do it and i lowerd the contrast to 0 insted of 50 i'll see if it helps

well, keep working on your monitor settings, because FO4 does not have a brightness or gamma setting unfortunatly.

i fixed it, i changed a setting called colour temp from warm to user

I actually don't think this game has a brightness slider (wtf bethesda seriously?). You're just gona have to change it from your monitor settings. On the bright side of things it'll put your brightness in line with other games and make it easier to adjust.

How dark is the game supposed to be? I remember when I first played FO3 I couldn't see 10 feet in front of me, I liked that.

FO4 a lot of times I don't know if it's day or night.
