Spectacle Island Glitch?
I cleared all the enemies, but I can't use the workshop. Appearently, there are still enemies, but I searched the whole island to find nothing. I even used killall. What gives?

Why would you use a scrapall command before you were able to use the workbench?

There's a large, partially submerged boat by the shore with a generator in it and wires leading up to the shack with the antenna, when you turn on the generator it will spawn the mirelurks you need to kill and eventually a queen mirelurk. Only then can you use the workbench.

Using scrapall made that impossible, you'll need to load a save from before you used that command.

That's the way to go. Use the console to mess up the game and then go complaining and let others search for a solution.

You are going to have to use the console to find and complete the quest for Spectacle Island.

It's somehow my responsibility to know what Bethesda built the game like? No other settlement was like this. I didn't decide the switch was necessary or scrapable.

No, but using a command to get rid of everything before understanding how that particular area works, was.

Damn I was hoping for a solution to the Spectacle Island issue I have.

I touched the stuff in the wrong order (flicked the switch before reading note) and got locked out of being able to gain it :(

Least I have the satisfaction I didnt do something stupid liek he did, then was more stupid by posting about it instead of just reloading a save...

The switch in the hut? Touching that doesn't lock you out (I know because I did exactly that too, heh). You have to go out and follow the power cables down to the shore, where you'll find the boat and turn on the generator to juice the antenna.

I meant the switch in the boat. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ part is I got distracted running around defending settlements after touching the part in the boat. It was real days later before I got back to the island and found out I had bugged it.

I played around with console commands to force ownership but they semi-failed. It gave ownership but it gave the inability to transfer settlers and set supply lines because the name never appeared in the list.

I searched the forums, goggled a bit and that was how I found out I screwed myself because others had done the same thing. Went to the boat first for the bobblehead and pushed the generator on before finding the note.

Can someone please explain how I am some kiddie who breaks stuff and whines? I find the attitude of these people to be rude. If you don't want to or can't help, at least be mature about your response. Not everyone plays the same way in the same order.
