Ms Azalea, the most low res ship ever
I was playing through Far Harbor when I came across a ship with some trappers, naturally I went and cleared them out, but the actual ship part (Not the structures, just the boat) were glitchy and had terrible graphics, like blended in foggy colors and such, no detail at all, is this happening to others or just me?

Are you running a mod called no interior fog. I have heard this causes a lot of problems in the DLCs. You will need to disable it if you are. It is disabling effects that the game needs to render those textures correctly.

I'm playing it completely vanilla, is it possible cheats are the reason why?

Screenshots would help. It is possible that it isn't loading LoD properly for some reason, but without being able to see the problem it is hard to tell.

As SuperBobKing said the lod model are overlapping the actual ship, I have this same problem with that ship, although for me it will sometimes load the ship properly and other times it dosent.

I've had what I expect is the same issue around corvega. I did some sniping there from the freeway north of the plant, and whichever highway section I was standing on ended up using the ultra low res distant texture, and stepping off that section of the road generally caused it to revert to the proper level of detail.

I also had an issue ontop of the plant where the low res textures/structure was super imposed over the high detail models, making it vsible mostly on the walkways where the two structures positions don't line up, so I had some random one sided textures clipping through walkways mostly.

As annoying as it was, I've not had the problem since. I've also not been back to Corvega yet, so I don't know if it was an isolated snafu, or if one of my mods was messing something up. I expect the highway was the same issue, where some of the sections had both the high and low detail textures running at the same time, and I would see the low detail ones because they are actually a bit above the roadway.

This sounds like trouble i got myself too mostly with highway parts and some doorways. very low texture overblend them sometimes, but only with texture option set to ultra (and yes my grafic card can handle ultra easily, even fo4 itself admit it in selftest) . i fixed that problem by droping the texture level 1 point.

It's might be ridiculous but I have exactly the same problem with low res textures on the Azalea ship. Even in 2024....

I have this issue sometimes too, and it can happen anywhere, but i have found a workaround. Save right when it happens, and then load that save, that will fix the issue.
Hope it will help a bit. :steamhappy:

Saving, quitting to main menu and reloading worked for me. I guess it's a bug where the low LOD model isn't properly swapped out when you get close enough and persists over the higher LOD texture.
