Just finished Automatron
I am satisfied with the DLC. Provided about 10 hours of content. Has a nice story. Provided some useful items to the game ( Robot Workbench ). Was somewhat challenging. I would say its a good purchase.

I had ONE complaint about Automitron and my biggest gripe is that it would have been and easy fix: The Mechanist had NO connection to the character from Fallout 3. It was just a very smart young lady that stumbled on the lair. HUH? I could have written a better plot during my lunch hour and it wouldn't have taken any more time or programming assets to implement.

Other than that I LOVED it!

Also if you can use the robots for supply lines.
If you make a sentry bot for that... no one will be able to stop it.

I dont know why the hate on this game all the time...

Not sure how you got 10 hours out of it, unless 8 hours was building robots. I beat it on survival in about 2.5 hours, with about an hour of that being robot building.

Seriously you went to several locations all over the map for clues plus a large sprawling complex that the Mechanist was actually in and you did it in 2.5 hours. I am glad I don't play that quickly and actually take time and enjoy the content and explore those locations...including reading all the clues in the various terminals. Plus the time spent building robots...and chasing down rogue robots. Oh and you actually said you did it in an hour and a half. You definetelly missed a lot.

what should my character level be if am playing on Survival?, I dont remeber the level of my last character was last time i tried to start the quest,but i do remember getting one shotted by the robots

My level was 25 and I completed it. I finished it at level 27.

my biggest complaint, or one of them anyways, is that the Mechanist doesnt have a truly unique weapon and just has a modifieid laser rifle.. the other.. I would've really liked an Antagonizer costume.. as a just because kind of thing. For if we have a Mechanist.. we must have an Antagonizer. Especially since the Mantaman random encounter is just a guy without even sporting a costume.

Not going to argue with you. My playthru of Automatron took far more than 1 hour and 1/2. I cannot imagine rushing through it that quickly. Not a chance I could even make it through the mechanists lair that quickly if I looted absolutely nothing. Anybody else get through the DLC in an hour and 1/2.

You should not buy DLC in the future. Your obviously a rusher...A giant waste of money for you.
