Still can't talk to Paladin Danse or Start Brotherhood questline [Solved]

So today I thought I came up with a good idea to check and see if I just missed some ghouls around the police station where Danse and his comrades are. I walked around that entire location at Cambridge and used the KILLALL command several times until there was nothing living in the entire area, including the subway.

Went back to talk to Danse and still, nothing, all he does is say the same thing: "Check ur fire, we got incoming."

So, perhaps I can use the console to force the next stage of Brotherhood relationship? Does anyone know how?

I have no mods, never did. Game is two weeks old for me.

The problem must be that Danse is the synth. He is trying to ruin it all along those Chinese communists. Do not talk to him at all.

Okay...when I did this mission (clearing the square and subway), I was sent by the BOS guy who got shot when you meet them; not Danse. You have to report back to this fellow (the one who doesn't trust you...not the woman). Try this...report directly to him not Danse.

....or there is my other theory.....

When you first meet Danse and company, they are trying to defend the Cambridge Police Station.....you get involved in a shoot out with some ghouls, defending the place with Danse until no more ghouls come. You then speak to Danse and get the mission to go and grab a signal enhancer from a high tech place.

After you get outside the high tech place, after you've got the gizmo, then you speak to Danse, he gives you a reasonably good raygun and asks if you'd like to consider joining with the BOS.

You then get to do some missions for the female scribe and/or the hard arsed fellow who doesn't like you(the one who got shot). My mission for him was to clear Cambridge Square and the subway.....maybe you killed too many ghouls with the 'killall' function right back at the beginning?

Try reloading and having the the initial Danse meeting, killing the first wave of ghouls without using function keys.The high walkway around the metal wall is a good defendable point. Don't venture outside the compound where the intial encounter takes place.........when the fight is over speak to Danse.

Don't know if this will work but it's perhaps a tad more useful advise than previously offered !

The quest gets buggy if you take too long to do it after getting the radio signal.

Mine is also stuck at "Check ur fire, we got incoming." I have finished the whole main quest and still there they stand saying this :) I´ll make a fresh save and try the command.

That command works wonders. Unfortunately once we got to Arcjet, Danse decided in his infinite wisdom to just go ALL the way back to the police station. Bethesda's POS games are always so freaking buggy.

I'd open the console, click on him, then go back to ArcJet and enter moveto player to see what happens.
