UNABLE TO COMPLETE MISSION

Hi I have aquired Ada as a companion. I have built the robot station to install the radar chip into her brain however when I attempt to do so it doesn't give me any options to do so.

ive done that. she has no special dialouge only "Self destruct" Disable Personalty" "Dismiss" "Nevermind

minor bug, shoulde be ok. I had this it fixed itself after sleep 24, restart game,

Xyzzy I did that exactly as you suggested just now. Slept 24 H and restarted. This did not fix the game. Could someone please make sure they have a confident answer to this question before replying here.

Are you able to load her into the workshop?
Do you have the science and robotics perks needed? Look for the item to install on the build menu. Sometimes it can be easy to miss.

I have a lot of hours played onver 5-6 different characters, and there are PLENTY of bugs that can stall a quest. But I've never run into a persistent problem in multiple games. Sometimes you just have to load an earlier save and move on.

Yes

I also was told to shoot Ada until shes down and then use a robot repair kit. Many on Reddit have used this as a minimally invasive fix versus going down the risky road of set.stage console commands

She needs claw arms and the security chip. Then she can open the doors.

That will stun her out of problems as well. I used that trick to get her personality unstuck :)
But can't say for sure if it will help you. Just have to try it

So i tried a couple of things. 1. I attempted to just shoot Ada for a few minutes and she took no damage. Repairing her didn't work. I tried shooting her without God mode and that only got me killed in one shot ! Lol haha. I have an idea. Can i just go to the Mechanists Lair by myself and over ride this annoying nuicanse? You guys are very helpful thanks in advance

Might i add that the last time i beat Fallout 4 I had god mode on and this never happened at all . Everything was fine.

Currently I am using the reddit and the wiki to attempt to find the Mech's lair manually.

This game I was attempting to not use any console cheats this game to add difficulty. I decided to use "tmm 1" to show all markers since this bug/glitch has made it justified to do so.

EDIT: I used wiki and his layer is connected to Robco Sales and Service Center. Let me explore around that area. I might have just been able to fix it

Ok this is becoming a long winded nightmare and I'm starting to dislike Bethesda.

Here's the research I've done. I've watched several videos on Youtube and read on Reddit.

I found the Robco Sales and Service Center but the strange devices can only be opened when you get the quest Restoring Order. I do not have this quest. I'm stuck and this is not a very fun video game if all this drama has to happen to play it
