Vault 81 "hole in the wall" bugged? (Warning, may contain spoilers)
So, was just doing the Hole in the wall quest in vault 81.During the quest i used lorenzo's artifact weapon to kill molerats, took one labcoat from the vault tech-locker/tombs. Ofc killed all things hostile in my path and then this happens;

Get the cure from Curie, take the elevator up, and vault security is suddenly hostile to me. I reload, the same thing happens again, only this time i notice Piper is hostile as well. I try not taking the elevator (walk back instead), and they still become hostile on sight.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? Is my save broken?

No idea, you have done something to make them hostile.

Load an earlier save and redo it.

Or try it with conventional weapons.

I've had residents of an area (town/vault/ect) go temporarily hostile if I wounded someone in a firefight, but that shouldn't happen in your case because there's nothing in that abandoned vault but molerats, a robot, and a few turrets. You didn't shoot Curie did you?

The fact that Piper is hostile is really strange. Does she actually try to shoot you? When you reload a save within the old vault, does she talk normally during a conversation before you take the elevator up? I've never had a companion go hostile on me, and I've accidently shot many of them in a fire fight because they jump in front of my weapon (until I took the perk that eliminates my damage done to them).

Do you have mods installed?

Do you have a save before going into the "hole in the wall"? If you do, I would try to reload that one and play through that quest again, as it's only about a 20-30 minute quest to get through.

@Park_Ranger Ye, im leaning toward it. Im not overly happy loosing the gametime tho.

@dransaw No sir, there was no shooting of Curie involved (that i know of). Yea, Piper got her gun up and fired away at me.
Seemingly, it all happens when vault tec security "sees" me.
I have Far Harbour and Atomaton, but no other mods or whatnot.

Think the only save i had was like 20 hour before (guess i over-use quicksave).

I know this is late, but I think I know the reason why:
There exists a protectron inside the hidden vault that you can activate. It might sound like a good idea, but it definietly isn't. If the protectron is bitten, I believe you still get the molerat disease. That is the reason why I killed it.

Well, since the hidden vault is still considered vault 81, I just destroyed their property and that is why they turn hostile.

That can't be the reason as I kill it in every playthrough. and I've never had any one turn hostile.

there was one playthrough where i didn't use the terminal next to the door after you ride up the elevator after meeting curie. if you just walk out the door without using the terminal first, then the vault residents become hostile.
