[Solved] HELP - Paladin Danse trying to kill me.

So I'm in survival mode and my last save was about 2 real-time hours ago. After I killed the courser for the quest, I went to bunker hill to sleep, reheal, etc. and in my rented room I accidentally stole ONE SINGLE ♥♥♥♥ING ITEM and everyone starts trying to kill me, including Paladin Danse. WTF?!?!?! I have console enabled so whenever Danse tries to shoot me I just tcl out of there, but this is SO broken. The first thing that's broken is the game mechanic for stealing. ONE ITEM = DEATH? The second thing that's broken is the fact that Danse is trying to kill me. Even if I did steal that item on purpose and started shooting up the place, Danse shouldn't be killing me.

So is there anyone out there who can do something with the creation kit to stop Danse and the Bunker Hill settlers from trying to kill me?

Edit: Solved by leaving Danse's area and waiting for 5 days.

enjoy replaying the 2hours irl game.. or... do the console commands for them to "forget" the crime, only one I know is this " resetAi " if this doesn't work I'm sorry, you should save more often XD

You need to back to an earlier save before you stole the item, or you need to find a way to set the faction Danse belongs to to be non hostile (this can probably be done with the console). Stealing can and will cause the faction you stole from to become hostile if you are caught, and being hostile means they will try to kill you.

If there are other people around who belong to other factions, those factions need to be tended to as well.

And? You can always sleep " to save " every about 30 - 45mins XD I play on survival as well, I save every few 30mins - 1hour so nothing happens, like yours did xd, but did it work ? ResetAi I mean?

That isn't always true. And I didn't try that one, but I found a reddit post that said to leave the area and wait for 5 days, and that worked.

Well so far it never failed on my end to save every few hour / minutes, and good to know that danse still doesn't want to kill you :P
