Can Anyone tell me and list all the fallout 4 base files?
my game launcher opens and when I click play it just loads and if i click it again it brings up "end program - wait for progam to respond"

And I think its my mods so I'd like to know all the base files so I can delete all my mods.

Verify your game integrity
Go to your steam library > right click fallout 4 > properties > local files

The base files are just the .ba2 files, and .esm files that have Fallout 4 for the prefix, and the dlc files.

Fallout 4 base file Prefix: Fallout 4 - / Fallout 4
DLC Base file prefixes:

DLCRobot
DLCCoast
DLCWorkshop01
DLCWorkshop02

, there's nothing else inside of the data folder besides the textures / meshes / LSData / Strings / sound / Textures / Video / vfs / Interface / Images / Materials / Meshes / Scripts folders

Mods usually place their files inside of the Data folder, the root folder, unless you have f4se should be fine.

Here's what mine looks like:

Those are the files you get when you fresh install the game, including folders.

Delete /Data and then verify game integrity. Actually don't delete it, *just rename it* and then verify game files. That way you can bring it back if needed.

Ive done so before and it just requires an entire reinstall essentially.

well yes - that's where the majority of the game is. But if you want to get rid of the accumulated cruft that's what you're going to need to do.

Then, once you've done that, *save* a CLEAN copy of your /Data folder so that if this is needed again you don't have to redownload everything.

you have to uninstall mods correctly or you end up making things worse , run loot
any mod using f4se needs an update , update f4se ,
if you use bethesda's mod thing you probably need to re-enable mods .
see if you can start a new game .or do you not even get to the options screen ?
