Kremvh's Tooth
It's a great stealth weapon.

Hey Jurassic,
I've removed the blade mod and put it on other legendary machetes that I've found. Seems to work for me. It deff still causes the over-time damage even when put on a plus 25% dmg legendary effect. I'm not sure how "stacking legendary mods" like you said works but this seems to work fine for me.
I keep naming it Kremvh's Tooth II, III, IV, V and so on with numerals.
I don't know the lore behind the blade but I remember finding it was pretty fun!

Throatslicer is easy to get, has over twice the base damage (70 v 31) and is fast instead of medium.

"Stacking" legendary mods is a contradiction in terms—because you can't do it. Whenever you put a [legendary] mod on a legendary weapon, it's not stacked—the new mod replaces the old one. For instance, trying make a Nocturnal weapon Nocturnal + Wounding gives you Wounding only.

I'm thinking of trying it out on Electrified Chinese Officer sword—it has a higher base damage rating than a simple machete.

Kremvh's Tooth isn't legendary - the effect is a mod that can be added to other legendary weapons.

That wiki link states clearly that Kremvh's Tooth is not legendary and the 'sacrificial blade' mod can be removed. Seems pretty clear to me.

I think you might be conflating 'mod' with 'legendary effect'; just go to a workbench and remove the 'sacrificial blade' mod as you would any other mod from any other weapon. Either choose 'none' or create a new blade mod like 'Serrated' which will put the sacrificial blade mod in your inventory.

Or, you guys could just get woke and use the Commie Whacker.

What I do NOT understand, though, is exactly how I'm supposed to "remove" it and add it to ANOTHER weapon. Nobody has EVER explained that to me.
No one's explained it because it should be self evident. You do it the exact same way that you remove a receiver or a suppressor from a gun in the game. Go to the weapons workbench, change the "sacrificial blade" part to either "no upgrade" or "serrated blade", then you find another machete (with or without a legendary effect), and change the blade upgrade to "sacrificial blade".

What seems "clear" to you is NOT in fact clear—there is no explanation WHATSOEVER of exactly how mods are removed and put on different weapons.
Well, i think that your character just cuts the blade off and welds it over to another machete.

Jesus H. Living CHRIST! Anyone who says it's NOT a legendary weapon is ignoring the fact that the game SAYS it's legendary—and that it can't be scrapped. AND—again!—nobody's EXPLAINING just exactly how I'm supposed to REMOVE and ADD TO ANOTHER WEAPON the "not legendary (get OFF of that already! Jesus!)" mod.

SAYING it can be done does NOT explain HOW it's done…but, you know what? Since nobody actually KNOWS or is willing to EXPLAIN, I'm abandoning this thread. I didn't come here and ask this question to start a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ childish bickering session.

But you're seemingly ignoring the fact that the weapon mod on Kremvh's Tooth, that which gives it some unique properties, can be removed, and attached to a different machete, thereby transferring the unique properties of the blade to a different weapon. If there's something here that you know that the rest of us don't, then perhaps elaborating on it rather than accusing everyone of being childish (while you're the only one apparently acting so) would be more beneficial for the discussion.

If you have evidence that the mod from Kemvh's Tooth doesn't stack when applied to a different legendary machete, then it should be reviewed and if found true, the wiki needs to be revised.

For those who can't (or won't) understand how it works, I created a video:

Thanks for making this, I thought about doing it, but I hadn't found Kremvh's Tooth yet on my current playthrough.
