Unable to open the console

I'm running the game via F4SE-Loader.exe as admin if that means anything, but hitting ~ isn't doing anything. Do I have to be runnig the game via the actual launcher? Because doing that disables achievements on my modded saves.

Dude did you accidently hit cntrl and shift at the same time? check by typing the "?" it will show up as "É" or some other character, this'll indicate that your tild key isn't the tild key any more. just keep hitting cntrl shift till the question mark returns to being a question mark and the console will come up again cuase tild is responding as tild again.

I'm aware of the ctrl shift thing and trust me, that's not an issue I'm having. I've tried every key and combination of key alongside the tild key and nothing works.

Don't go blaming bethesda immediatly, Sony and Microsoft has a strict police on cheat devices, and mods, according to them, would be one since they hinder the gameplay experience and make you able to earn achievements in an abnormal way.

Fallout 4 is the same version across all platforms, which means we're stuck with that mod interface built for consoles, and of course, achievements being disabled.

There's a mod to re-enable the console, and a f4se to re-enable the achievements, here's a link to the one that toggles the console flag:

Make sure to have the f4se loader exe and both .dll files from the archive in your main Fallout4 directory under your Steam library. It's that simple otherwise. 3 files get copied into \steamapps\common\Fallout 4. Nothing gets overwritten, nothing changes with your main installation. If you want to run the game with f4se, use the f4se loader and run as admin. If you want to run the game normally, run it through Steam.

Are you playing survival because that disables the console.

I should probably add that installing f4se alone doesn't enable any functionality otherwise, its just a script extender that enable functionality for mods. Once you have f4se installed you can install any mod from nexus that requires f4se using NMM the normal way.

I've used the consoles loads of times, and Have 60+ mods, game still runs fine.

Well sir if unless you are a fulltard you'd probably realize that a console command doesn't screw up quests, stupid people screw up console commands. For some reason, depending on your computer and keyboard, there can be a variety of keys to open the console in F4. It's not just ~. On mine, it's the ' key (no shift required).
