All my NPCs are dying when the lost fights. The don't sit on the ground they are completely dead.

Is there anybody who has an solution for this problem ?

are you playing in survival? wait, im not sure if that means anything.

What you're complaining about is like one of the top 5 requested Fallout 4 features. (Why can't I kill this NPC)

I'm assuming this is with Wasteland Workshop right? I think maybe the fighting pits remove Essential tags, but hey, you found a way to kill Preston so... 10/10,

Running a mod that makes settlers killable?
reen May 28, 2016 @ 8:48pm
No mods are running.
I only installed Fallout 4 with season pass.
I don't play survival.

They npcs are dying unfortunately Bethesda said that this shouldn't be possible. I think it must be a bug.

Not to question you but are you sure they are dying and not just respawning elsewhere? I know if you have a compain and you don't heal them (and walk away from them) they will drop your party and head to a random settlement (that you own)

The are dying completely. When I enter the console moveto player they are spawing dead in front of me. Yes it is possible to enter resurrect but in quests its a problem you have to reload anytime and watch out that piper,Preston,Nick didn't die.

Nah they don;t I used some followers in arena fights they don't die on wasteland workshop. only way I could get the instigator achievement cause regular settlers die too fast

Well there is a way to revive them... press "~" key, Then click the body of the person and type "resurrect" without the ( " ) signs.

Yes that's possible but the problem is not solved at this point . You are able to revive them but then they don't remember in witch point of the quest they are. So sometimes they don't talk or they don't move.

There must be an console commando witch makes it possible that all npcs didn't die.

Google "set essential" and wiki the ID's of each.. You should be able not only find out if the flag is still there but also reset it back to essential (can't be killed)

I got instigator by pitting one captured creature against another - my settlers did nothing but spectate.

Yes this solution works for every single person. Is there a way to set essential for all npcs ?

Now just get Marcy and Mamma Murphy into the ring to duke it out with each other. Then drop a deathclaw on the survivor.

Settlers have always been killable. They just have to take a lot of damage in one hit, I think. I had one lady who got surrounded by 9 or 10 synths which basically ripped her in half.
