Yeah, you're dumb.
This means I cant run the game via steam anymore?
Still Steam, still get the overlay. The f4se loader is just injecting dll code as the client starts up.
So if I start the game by steam it will still work?
ok will try and come back with feedback later
My game is on the beta opt-in thingy,so I downloadded the BETA download, and it gave me 7 files. How do I install?
Same exact process. You only need the 2 .dll files and the .exe file copied to the Fallout4 directory. Ignore the src folder inside the archive.
okay, that defektiv guy produces impossible to follow instructions that'll probably cost you dozens of problems, here's proper steps for you:
1. download the f4se beta build 0.1.14 (for beta) from http://f4se.silverlock.org/
2. extract the archive to your fallout4 directory (the one where your fallout4.exe is located, it's usually steam\steamapps\common\fallout4).
3. install "place everywhere" mod through the nexus mod manager.
4. you should run the game through f4se_loader each time for that mod to work. make a link or follow this guide: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=682660057
Now that I have the Savegame Editor, how do I install the "Build On Red" mod?
Also, with all this installed,do I have to always launch the game by the F4SE launcher or can I do it on the normal Steam launcher?
As I said,I usually install mods by the NMM.So I ask, now that the F4SE files on the F4 folder, can I launch it and use the mod?How do I install the "Build on Red" mod?
So the only difference is that I will not be able to place things on red?
So far all I did was install the F4SE, do I have to install anything else to "Build on Red"?
