Power Armor Fusion Core: nukliear perk actually reduces the amount of power in a fresh core.
I decided to get thet Nuke power Perk so my cores lasted longer. They actuall last less and less as I improved the perk When a fresh core is auto loaded it is not at full power. 25% bonuse lowers Core level to 85%. The next level of that perk lowered a fresh core's power to 75%. When I reached Dubble the life of a Core it now lasts as long as it did befor the Perk was taken.

It probably auto loaded a core that was already partially used into your suit from your inventory. On non-survival they don't weigh anything so keeping them all on you gets that result. It just picks a random one it seems when the one installed gets depleted. It's even worse when you use a gatling laser, then you end up with hundreds of partially used cores of different levels in your inventory.

I don't have partially used cores [if I should somehow get 1 in my INV I use them in companion's PA they never run out of power then.]

This is not a 1 time event this happends every time a new ore is added [Game uses fresh core by default if 1 is available].

I don't get what you're saying?

Well stop using your power armour, Other than a few locations you dont really need to use it.

it's useful in survival. carry weight, mitigation, no fall damage, cores aren't a big deal, melee viable early on with it and more

The Math calculations when a fresh Power Core is added when useing the perk tht improves thier life exspectancy is resulting in a Negative affect. The fact that my weapon looses all charges and the total Available Fusion Cores also goes to Zero

It is an Inconvienience but unequipt the weapon then re-equipt it restests the numbers. It IS a math error. And they affect other things down the road.
