i meant cheat yourself the perk if you dont have it. you can level up and put points in it but it will end in the same result. why dont you trust me dude? the damage will be the one you desire.
which means it deals 100 extra damage unaffected by any kind of resistances and can be further buffed with Nuclear Physicist and other damage perks.
So yea there is a reason why its called best melee weapon in the game.
Idk if its overlook on Bethesda side or intentional but those 100 extra rads on that weapon are not affected by rad resistance or immunity.
LET ME EXPLAIN there are 2 types of radiation damage in the game "dtRadiationExposure" which is raw dmg unaffected by resistances and "DamageRadiationWeapon" which adds radiation poisoning instead direct damage and its affected by rad resistances / immunities
Atom's Judgement legendary effect uses "dtRadiationExposure" for some reason unlike other weapons with Irradiated prefix which use correct radiation poisoning effect.
So remember kids just because it uses radiation dosen't mean that it will suck against ghouls or mutants ^^ it all depends which kind of "radiation" it deals.
You do realize Nuka World wasn't out at that time right? There were no Nuka World perks from this.
There's also a case to be made for the Throatslicer, since if you don't use VATS/Blitz for Melee, attack speed is much more important. (Enemies can inturrupt your melee on slow weapons pretty readily)
