Can You Completely Empty Out a Settlement?

I've got 15 settlers living in Hangman's Alley, and it's just.... glitched to heck and back because of the tightness. I've got 0 at Red Rocket because that was my home base. So, assuming I build up enought food, water, beds, and defense at Red Rocket, can I send each and every one of those 15 settlers from Hangman's Alley to Red Rocket? I'll make Hangman's Alley my home base, and I want zero settlers at my home base.

ADDED: I didn't want to send them to Red Rocket until I built the necessary food, water and beds, and I don't want to build the necessary food, water and beds until I'm sure I can move every all of them there. So I wanted to ask and find out first before I start building/moving. Was afraid the game might let you move all but 1 or something.

You can move anyone out who is not a *named* settler. Like the group that ends up in Sanctuary with Preston or the couple that are in the first settlement he asks you to liberate. Those people can't be moved.

Yes you can move any unnamed settlers to any other settlement

also if you don't want to use hangmans alley ever again you can also open console with ~ and type scrapall to get some resources back ya used on it.

Thanks guys, I think I'm going to do it. Only problem I'm seeing is moving all of that stuff I've collected at RR to HA. I'm over 100 hours in with this character (level 38, haven't died yet *knocks on wood*) and have accumulated a LOT of stuff at RR. lol

FUN FACT: I've got over 500 hours in the game (with several characters, I think 24 now, as when I die, it's game over) and over 100 hours with this character (level 38 now) and i have NEVER YET been to Diamond City. LOL Not once, with any character.
