Paul Pembroke killed in bar fight with Henry Cooke - Diamond City Blues not starting; WTF?

Sorry for necro, but you can fix this by leaving the bar once you walk in on them argueing. Then you'll have to wait for paul to come out of the bar after and he'll be alive.

Sorry for necroing X 2 but thanks to this user right here I finally got it to work.

When doing the quest to get the DJ a girlfriend, I had piper as a companion. So the bully's come into the bar and start the fist fight, I had strength of 10 and killed the guy with one punch. Then Piper pulls out her gun and starts shooting the other guy.

After it was all over, the bar tender walks up to me and screams "You killed him! How could you ruin my perfectly good plan?" lol

The 'unoffical patch' ♥♥♥♥♥♥ more up in my game than it fixed. uninstalled and /rudefinger to the person(s) that halfassed it.

RISE FROM THE DEAD, THREAD. Just had paul die in the first barfight as well, though Henry never pulled a gun. I guess he just beat the ♥♥♥♥ outta Paul a little too hard, knocked him on the floor and he never got back up

Set Paul Pembroke as an essential NPC so he doesn't die in the initial fight. Literally just worked for me.
