Perks greyed out and missing icon?

Heyo. So to explain this as best I can i have 2 perks that are missing their icon and i cannot click on them to select them for leveling up despite having the requirements. It is most likely mod related, but am wanting to know how to fix this problem and possibly revert back to the vanilla perks as disabling said mods did not seem to bring them back.

I don't know but to clarify, if say you have enough charisma points (stars) for animal friend the animal friend icon is still greyed out?

Yes. I have the stars and points necessary, but the icon is missing.


HOWEVER! Last night I loaded my game with no mods and the perks came back fine. So I thoerize if I load up a save that has mods, without mods, save, then reload my mods back it should work. Everything I've got is mainly just textures or weapon rebalance anyway so it shouldn't be a big deal.

you must be using a mod that specifically alters the perks, because A texture mod wouldn't, unless the Weapon Rebalance mod also affects the perks (changing their values, levels, requirements)

indeed i am, one for strong back and one for lone wanderer. Haven't had a chance to test yet though. ;-; The problem is if I just disable the perk mods themselves it does nothing.
