I didn't time it when I did it, but I don't think I spent more than 15-20 minutes on the fifth one.
I thought they were fairly fun. No real challenge, but fun even so.
Like I said the first 4 are great. But the last one is crazy. I even cheated and looked at youtube, believing I was doing something wrrong. Nope. Just the tedius task of moving the blocks one at a time. I agree with RnM. If I wanted to move freaking blocks upon blocks upon blocks I'd play Tetris!
The worst thing is, I figured out the puzzles fairly quickly, it just took lots of time to move the danged blocks, and then moved the danged blocks, then moved the dang blocks, ...
I competed these puzzles as a lefty with remapped keyboard. I have to toggle the X button to auto walk to move around in workshop mode.
I like puzzles in an RPG - I heard about them and was looking forward to them. I brushed off criticisms about the puzzles as folks whining about nothing. THESE puzzles are just insanely repetitive busywork. They aren't clever. They're just an awkwardly long chore. I don't think I've ever seen puzzles in a game that were so carelessly long and so intentionally awkward. I felt like I was being trolled. It's like it's built to be annoying and slow you down at a point when the story is really picking up and you want to know more. By the time I was finished with all the puzzles, I felt like I was finished some horrendous chore and could finally go back to playing Fallout.
I still love the game and the DLC, but my nose bleeds when I think of doing the puzzles again on another playthrough.

taadaaaa. Yepa cheated to my heart content -oh (##) represent load order number depends on loading order of game and DLC/Mods
This is what a real hacker would have done anyway. Those puzzles were an unfun chore to do. Destroyed the DLC's momentum.
The good news is, they made me realize I in NO WAY want to ever buy The Talos Principle, so thanks for saving me that money.
