DIMA memory bug, need help
Basically what is happening is that I'm on the first memory sequence for the quest best left forgotten (I believe that's the name) and I am experiencing a glitch, when the indexers enter the yellow thing then they stey there, the sequence is stuck at 80%, I need help ASAP to progress.

I know, there are 5 there but they all just stay in the yellow place, they don't attempt to bring it back.

I doubt that because when I try and push them out they move fine.
I found something.... interesting today. You don't need the green laser to open red walls. No, you don't ! :B1:

I think it's a little bug, but when the level start, just build all the turrets in front of the last red wall. The enemies will now attack your... hu, "green bugs" ? Even if the last wall is still there. Just wait, turrets will try to shot the enemies, but if one shot hit the "activator block" (the one the green laser have to hit), it will open the red wall.

It happened to me while I was trying to solve this puzzle.

That's cool but it doesn't help me fix thi game breaking bug.
I had the exact same issue on the second memory. What apears to happen is there are 5 rings around the end field, that the bugs need to bring to where you start. If one bug dies, the ring will reset. The issue here seems to be that when a bug dies the ring doesnt reset. Meaning when rest of rings are delivered the bugs will go after last one but there is nothing to pick up, so they just sit there.

I dont know how to fix this on a PS4. But on PC one can use the console.
On this forum should be a post someplace with all the stages for this quest, but if not found once can get the stages by running "sqs DLC03MQ04" to get all stages. For the second memory for me it was atleast "SetStage DLC03MQ04 250" that i had to run to get that objective to complete and get the memory into my inventory.

Thank you for your help, I'm on PS4 so I can't use console but at least I understand what is going on now.

I just reloaded to a save before I even turned on the power to the room. Try that?
you need to back out of the mod menu so it doesnt think you are still building. Its same for ps4 or pc. You have a menu on screen showing how you can build turrents, the code block, and the other block to help open fire walls. back out of all of those so it just shows the hammer and screwdriver on screen for mod menu and the bugs should start moving again. Make sense? it may just think you are still building before they move, thats the issue i was having. Maybe not though....sorry if it doesnt help

Have you tried to push them with your feet?

They always responds to me pushing them around.

Don't put too much work into precision though. I had the fifth bug just sit and chill out a few feet from the entry stream during the third puzzle; it just sat there, rubbing it's back legs together like a real bug and trying to walk into a cube.

I pushed it... essentially by walking over it about a dozen times. Don't worry about being precise, just walk over it.
They sometimes get stuck on gaps, if you don't bridge them to their taste. I had sometimes to make a two-cube way for them, or some did not move across. Maybe you have a problem like that, if you see only four of them?
well well I just had the same problem. I removed all the light blue blocks and replaced them again, and hey presto, the bugst start running back to the access point. :)
(I'm on pc, but have no clue how to use console commands, and doesn't want to use them :))

I just had this issue on memory number 3 on PS4. The comment earlier was right basically the bug has no "memory ring" to pick up and bring back. I fixed this by exiting the memory and reloading my save from the start of the memories before i entered the computer. Now, I'm exiting each memory and auto saving before loading and playing the next memory. That way I can reset just that memory if the data bugs glitch up again.

Damn, I only quick save and my last save is like 48 hours ago.
