the command i used was 01005c82.moveto player, and that fixed it
That didn't work for me. Has anyone else figured out how to get her to reappear? She disappeared after I returned from killing the Red Death.
Well I have found out that Avery was killed by DiMA and replaced with a synth prior to my arrival on the island but I haven't found any other quest relating to her leaving Far Harbor nor a reason she needed to leave.
I'll keep playing and see if I can get some answers.
that will give you her ID, use that in <ID>.moveto player
thats assuming the ID varies between different games
also, ive done most of the side quests and nowhere does it hint at avery being missing iirc
Love the DLC but I think it has a bit too many bugs when it comes to the characters actions.
When you get to the quest point where you discover Avery being a Synth, this triggers Avery to force a conversation with you to deal with the problem. You can dismiss it but she will just follow you around slowly to force the talk. If you dismissed her and went to continue quests with lots of fast traveling, if you return to Far Harbor and find Avery to be missing, it means she is somewhere on the Island, homing in on you.
Since she is a quest important character, you can't finish the DLC properly without her so, what you should do is:
-use the command as people said, 03005c82.moveto player to force Avery to come to you
-sit on a chair, bench, bed, and fast forward the days untill Avery gets to town(can be alot depending on how far she is, and she is walking, not running so take that in account)..
-if the force command doesn't work, it COULD mean she was killed somewhere or that she dissapeared, so if that happens, only reloading a save can help you.
I managed to get her back in Far Harbor with a console command. Her player ID is different, though, than yours.
I loaded an old save, found Avery, opened the console (~) and then clicked on her. It gave me her ID which was 02005c82.
Loaded my most recent save, typed 02005c82.moveto player and she popped back in and started talking with the townsfolk after the final mission.
Someone should put a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bell on her.
Apparently Avery's ID is XX005c82, where XX is the position of the DLC in your load order.
E.g. I have Far Harbor at the fourth position in my load order, so her ID would be 03005c82 (because it starts with 00 being your Fallout4.esm). To see and/or modify the load order, I recommend the Nexus Mod Manager from nexusmods.com or at least that's what I use. I hope I could help. :)
