Re-enable survival mode?

So I enable survival mode and decided I wasn't ready for it so I disabled it but it told me I couldn't go back. Is there any way I can re-enable survival mode with a mod or by editing some file?

Gotta love Bethesda on some terrible design decisions.

Disabling the Command Console on survival mode for one... where I found myself needing to repair a few problems that a reload does not fix.

Making survival mode a contract. Once you're in it, you can't go back.

And while I don't mind the weight limit thing, the saving thing, or the fast traveling thing.... I do mind that I'm still expected TO GO HELP A F*CKING SETTLEMENT WITH A DEFENCE RATING OF OVER 300!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HALF OF THE CIVILIANS HAVE MINI GUNS! MINIGUUUUUUUUNS! Oh! But if you don't show up... you're not fast enough, and god help you on survival mode, you immediately fail because your civilians are so incompetent that they NEED YOU!

And when I do show up... I spent half an hour running across the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ waste to only see the super mutants, gunners, or WHAT EVER get eviscerated before they even have a chance to FIRE!

It wont kill you to fail a defence, its only letting you know its being attacked, your choice to go play hero or not.

Seal them in. Nothing goes in, nothing goes out. Except the provisioners and their cows, but they're programmed to warp through the wall if they can't walk through. Set up one entrance and put a powered door on it with an OFF delayed timer switch on both sides wired in-line before the door itself. Stick heavy laser turrets along the walls. Let them live in blissful ignorance thinking their world is safe.

Copy it then paste in the console (were you enter console commands) (In-game)

Man I've tried everything and I can't revert this save to survival. Could I be doing this wrong? Is there any way to fix this?
