This is a glitch or bug that has just popped up in my game this last week. At first, I was ready to blame my set up and maybe my mods and or load order, BUT I have 4 other characters that I have many hours of play time on and they have worked just fine. Swimming has not been a problem for them. I thought I would create a new character and try a playthrough with a different approach. Well that is when I acquired this glitch where the character can not swim. They walk on the water as the water is vibrating and bouncing around as soon as they get just below waist deep in the water. I have tried to create 5 different characters this week and all of them have the same problem. I have been searching all over the net and have come up with no resolution to this problem. I haven’t found any reasonable explanation or fix. Does anyone out there have a clue as to what is going on and how to solve it?
EDIT - listen to british werewolf - tried it and it didnt work, but tried it again and it did
