So what is causing the rainbow texture glitch?

After playing for a few hours I'll get random rainbow textures of different surfaces. Sometimes it's a wall, sometimes it's the pip boy. My GPU isn't running hot and when I restart the game it goes away for a while.

From what I've read so far it seems to be an AMD problem but noone has a fix.

I have an AMD GPU and sometimes dogmeat´s face has a weird rainbow/colored noise texture..

Not sure if its because of ALT+TAB:ing out and back in, or something else though..

I had the same issue with my 290x; it only went away when I switched to nvidia.

It's sad that this is still an issue

hur hur upgrade to Nividia hur (Not knocking Nividia, just the fanboys. Which I actaully am, but gotta laugh at yourself sometimes)

In seriousness whens the last time you did a clean driver update? (as in deleting all old driver files)

it sounds like missing textures. try verifing your game cashe.

Under [Display]
Make sure iTexMipMapSkip=0

other than that I don't know
