On having extra perk points
So I already have all of the perks. Literally all of them. That's nice and all, but I don't like having extra perk points I can't spend. So what I'm thinking is that those extra points can be spent on improving your SPECIAL attributes. Anyone else think that's a good idea?

You mean like, past 10? I don't think Bethesda were planning on anyone even making it as far as 150 or so, much less maxing out every perk. I guess that would be the next logical step though. In Skyrim you could restart your perks so you could just keep leveling up your main stats.

There's a mod where you can set the amount of perk points earned, so for example:
You can make it so you get this amount of perk points from this level to this level, or make it so you don't earn any from a certain level

Sure, why not. Then just open the console and set your SPECIAL stats. if you wanna OP it up. But don't let your faux OCD have any say - what the UI says is irrelevant.

Maybe instead of implementing perk points, the next game could introduce some kind of level up token instead. You could use the token to receive training in whatever perk or stat you choose (like what is displayed in the perk chart) or you can use perk points for unique special bonuses to your weapons, armor, settlements, etc.

Unfortunately not, as I think it's probably highly OP enough as it is having EVERY single perk. You must be over level 275 or something... I assume you cheated that in as I can't imagine anyone would have found the time to get that already. lol In my main, non-survival game, I'm pretty OP and that's "just" at level 80 with over 200 hours gameplay.

Hm. Current main char is 127 so I'll be hitting this wall soon. Perhaps, like they did with Dragonborn once you defeated Miraak as well as the Legendary resets, Beth will include some kind of reset thing in a DLC (hopefully Far Harbor).

Lol 127 is not soon. Youre only about halfway there
