How old are Nate and Nora?

If you had to guess what their ages were, what would you guess?

Well Nate served at least four years in the military, Nora completed law school, and Shaun was almost a year old, I'd say they're roughly 26-30.

I always wonder why they are not more sadden by how each of their families and friends are dead. They did know them longer then Shaun. Not one word is spoken about anyone other then Shaun.

Other than that though... Who says they had surviving friends and family by the time the bombs fell? Who says they were on good terms? I think you're just trying too hard to find fault where there really isn't any unless you project your own priorities on your character.

And if you want to get into a more complicated level of psychology, As long as Shaun is in danger, the parental drive that most mammals all share tends to overshadow auxillary relationships. As animals dictated by chemistry that is geared towards creating new generations of humans, we typically tend to prioritize the survival of our proginy over really... anything. Typically being the operative word.

I'm not trying to find faults, this is literally the only game I've been playing for months. I was just thinking what about all your family and friends. Also I highly doubt they didn't have some friends and even some living family when the bombs fell.

Who are they going to talk about it to though? There's only a tiny handful of ghouls from that time and everyone else isn't going to understand the moping because they've grown up in a world where early and violent death are common.

Considering the culture of pre-war America it's likely that Nate signed up into the military at 18 or near that.
So while he was grunting it up nora was studying to become a lawyer.
So it's highly probable they're both at least 22.
23-24 is my estimate.

hmm don't know for sure I guess somewhere in the 30's also do consider at the time the story starts he isn't in the military anymore. Nora is I think a bit younger.

Nate was at war... He could be younger or older than Nora. But Nora for sure is more than 25....My opinion she is around 30. Why ?
When we start the game as a woman ( Nora ),when we leaving the bathroom and going to living room, there is her diploma (next to the US flag) on shelf. After activation, we hear our protagonist say... All these nights... It was worth it.
The thing is, she got a degree in law. So she studied law for at least 5 years, so when she finished her studies + practice, Nora had to be at least 25-26 years old. Plus getting pregnant and 9 months of pregnancy, so let's make it a year. She must have been 27 years old when she gave birth to the child Shaun.
Taking into account the fact that a person completing studies + a doctorate is an intelligent, reasonable person, she does not want to have a child right away, because person must prepare for a child, first of all financially, to ensure well-being. Let's not forget, there was already a war between the US and China at that time, so things certainly weren't rosy in US.
I'm guessing about 30 years... unless Nora just had a "Kinder Surprise", which happens.
Generally speaking, Nora must be at least 27 years old, maybe a little older than 30. But no more than 35.
