Fallout 4
Tesla Rifle and Gauss Cannon
I guess no one noticed as its no where on the internet but the Gauss Cannon from Doom and the Tesla Rifle from Fallout 4 are just about the same gun. The Gauss Cannon has just about the same design alongside a charging feature around the barrel of the gun. It of course compares to the charge shot Tesla Rifle from Fallout 4.

Bethesda Game Studios and I.D Software are completely different teams
Actually hes right on that one. Both Fallout 4 and Doom are published by Bethesda.
That's true, but they're not the same developers; Bethesda has their own in-house team for developing their licensed IP's that no other team is developing but themselves; they're just the publisher, not the developer when it comes to doom, otherwise they're completely in -house for fallout 4 or elder scrolls; when it comes to Doom, It's up to Id Software without the BGS interference

Yes but being published by Bethesda gives them the ability to use certain similarities such as using one of their DLC guns in their game. It actually happened before with Nintendo as they have many different teams there that worked on games. Starfox did it by using assets from Zelda to develop their R-Wing Mechanics for Starfox on Gamecube.

My bad. It was the other way around. Legend of Zelda borrowed from Starfox to design a boss mechanic and left the assets in game.

Except that's not the case, Id is independent from Bethesda and is highly unlikely they pulled from Fallout 4 in general. Bethesda has actually published quite a few games, from Dishonored, to The Evil Within, and even Wolfenstein The New Order, but they're not the same developers, Bethesda remains as the publisher, yes, but similarities are highly unlikely to be intentional.

A company that DOES do this though, would be Ubisoft.

I don't know. A Gauss Cannon to have that same core generator when they don't use them is kinda suspicious though. It's always possible to walk into Bethesda offices and meet someone from Fallout 4's team and ask "Can we use some assets from your game in ours?" or the other way around. Think it would be Fallout 4 borrowing from ID as Doom had the Gauss Cannon much longer than Automatron was in development.
