Audio not working on my weapon mods
I only hear distant gunshot audio on many of my weapon mods. Did update 1.5 change something that would affect audio?

Everyting considering mods shouold be reported to the mods authors...
Maybe they alreay have a fix for it ;)

Even IF 1.5 changed something... it's the mod authors that could fix it if you tell them about the problem.

I have the exact same problem. The problem seems to arise every time a custom audio is being used. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? For instance i got the HK G3 battle rifle as well as the M2216 assault rifle and they are working fine since they use the Vanilla ausio for assault/combat rifle. But for instance the modular kalash mod does exactly what aNinjaGuardian says: The audio sounds very distant. And for me, the kalash gets on like a repeat for echo on the shots being fired from far away. I use NMM and i just dont get it...what is the problem? Anyone got any ideas on where to look for solutions on the net? Plz link that....

I was able to fix my problem. I read somewhere through google searching that NMM has issues installing both audio and textures when games are installed to SSD. Sure enough, my game was on an SSD not my hard drive. I uninstalled and re-installed the entire game to my hard drive and redirected NMM to install mods to my hard drive as well and my game works fine.

This may not fix everyones problem with this issue, but it helped for me.

Hey thx for the info. I dont know exactly what the problem is either, but like u mentioned the NMM and all that virtual and info and things like that should be on the same Drive as the game that is installed. I dont know the specifics on the reasons for it or anything about why this is so, but when i changed all the settings for the "mods download" and the "virtual blabla" and the "mod install nfo" to the same drive as the game is installed on - It worked. This seems to be a NMM problem that they should solve because this seems to be just some silly bug that should be fixed. In any case, this seems to be the same for both textures and most likely other issues as well, so im glad u answered here. Thx dude...
