Fallout 4 Invisible Dog Armor Bug PS4

So, Dogmeat will equip everything he can normally equip (collars, bandanas, helmets, etc), but when he equips dog armor (light, regular, or heavy) it doesn't show. It says it's equipped in Dogmeat's inventory (yes yes, I've hit T/Y/Triangle to equip it), but it's invisible. WELP
EDIT: I've also noticed that the dog armor on all dogs who have it equipped (such as the unique dogs Kate, Kyle and Alissa) has also dissapeared, similar to the DC guard helmet glitch that causes their helmets to dissapear

Same, I'm on PC too. Seems to be something with today's patch

I haven't found a fix sadly. I am almost 100% sure restarting the game would fix it or maybe a conflicting mod for you guys might override textures. I'm not really a console player of Bethesda games for the most part and these glitches are why. It's a slight problem but my character relies on dogmeat as a companion and not being able to have his cosmetics is kinda a downer. Mods could probably cause or fix the problem from my experience with Bethesda games on pc.

I did equip it, yes. Not really a problem anymore though, I don't get around to playing much fallout 4.

It was a problem introduced with the Survival update I believe. DC Guard Helmets are also bugged.

Yeah, I mentioned the DC guard helmets. The bug is kinda annoying, dogmeat with a helmet and not the armor looks odd and the DC guard bug wouldn't be as bad if they didn't all look the same. I lost my drive to play Fallout when Skyrim Remastered was announced but there are other people with this bug, so if anyone finds a fix please do post it

I was fine for quite a while, Dogmeat had his armor on and everything was fine, and then his armor (along with all other dog armor and DC guard helmets) turned invisible. Restarting my game might fix it, but I have a level 54 character and I don't play fallout much anymore so I can't see that happening. And btw, this glitch only affects dog armor, dogmeat can still wear bandanas, helmets, goggles and all that jazz. I don't have much Fallout knowledge, I'm more of an Elder Scrolls player myself, but all Bethesda games are great.

Sadly not, the glitch doesn't seem to affect all people for some reason (I wonder if the glitch is related to a quest or a mod for pc players like the brawl glitch in skyrim, someone should do some testing on that). There hasn't been a mention of it in the changelog and the glitch is still present in game. I personally don't need a fix, I'm burnt out of Fallout (it seems to get boring a bit faster than elder scrolls games) but I'm sure the other people with this glitch would appreciate if someone found a fix
