Strange movement in water bug?
Been experiencing this for a bit now but just recently it has got worse.

https://youtu.be/2BjdmdWplGY?t=10s

If you can't tell from the video, kind of poor quality but the only one I could find, there is something in the water moving when he moves. For me it used to just be one like that and was annoying but I dealt with it. Now it's two spots like that and it's driving me crazy.

Anyone else had this problem and or just know of a way to possibly fix it? This was happening before I ever modded the game so I know it's not that.

Yes. I have seen it as well. It is something new in 1.5 patches.

I think it also only happens when you have a weapon drawn.

I've had it since before 1.5 and it persists even when I don't have a weapon out.

Suddenly it's gone one session then back in another. Not sure WTH this is.
Oh that's still around! Skyrim has it also, maybe even fallout 3?

Really? I never spent much time in or around the water in Skyrim so maybe that's why I didn't notice it.

It is either a synth in chamelon armour stalking you, or looks like when you move through water the splash is offset because there were no ripples around your character, try verifying your game cache see if that fixes it.

I've experienced it in every bethesda game I've played with water physics of any sort and it drives me bonkers. I'd blame it on my graphics card, processor, something, but I've changed them all out in the time between when I first played Skyrim and now with the Special Edition, and it's happened in every Fallout game that I've played in the interim. I'm completely clueless.

I know this thread is old, but I found it after experiencing this EXACT glitch in Fallout 3! So I can confirm this is something screwing with multiple Bethesda games.
