Legendary Modification
Hey guys/gals can I get some clarification on the Legendary Mods from Nexus. When it installing it says something about "stand alone weaposn can have 2 legendary mods...etc etc." When I'm in the game inside my weapons workshop, I can only add one. Am I missing something? Thanks!

If it is a mod you talk about, It is better to ask it directly to the mod author.

Afaik you have to craft the 2LM - Workbench first and can craft weapons / armor with two legendaries at that workbench. don't use the mod myself though...

To get two legendaries you have to have the item from the mod not the vanilla item. To get them, either but the special workbench from the mod or add them using the console.

editied: what Charon said so much better than I

It should be in your settlement workshop menu with the other vanilla workbenches.

P.S. It looks like a weapon workbench so check the name to get the right one..2LM

Oh okay. Do I need to check any of the extra boxes when installing through NMM so I get access to the workbench?

er, gee sorry I do not remember. I installed it a while back. Is it not in your settlement build menu? It should be in the same sub menu as the vanilla workbenches. You know like the armor, chem and weapon workbenches. A 2LM workbench should have been added to the menu

You can always go into the console

1) type "help <item> 4 <item type>" for example for combat armor

help combat 4 ARMO

or for combat rifle

help combat 4 WEAP

then find the one that has the mod id and

player.additem <item id> <count>

to find your mod id look at the load postion in NMM so all items for that mod will start with that

in my case is it 7 so all item ids are 07XXXXXX the 2LM metal chest peice on my install is 070008cc. On your install it will most likely be something else instead of 07 but the 0008cc will be the same

the only setting it should be played is "survival". (the mod difficulty, not the game mode)

never tried another setting...
i like mods not to break my game if suddenly unavailable ;)

Why? I just use easy mode. Does it actually make a difference? I have unlimited materials basically.

ok

added: Ah that jogs the old memory...yea I installed it on the one where it takes large amounts of rare items ( like gold etc), and the mod cannot be removed only replaced, whatever that setting was called

Okay so I got everything seemingly working except 1 thing. The "never ending mod" doesn't have infinite ammo. Any reason why this is happening?
