What is the Date in your game?
Mine is 4.28.2288, so not yet a year. If I had stuck with my first playthrough I would be close to 2289.

I'm curious how far people have gotten. Anyone in the 2300's :steammocking:

I set my timescale to 6, so not much time has passed even in my original playthrough (which I took my sweet time with). I hate the default super fast timescales bethesda uses, time goes too fast.
what timescale would make it like realtime? I don't like the nights I'd rather be up from 8 am and never see night during a playthrough.

set timescale to 1

Timescale 1 = real time.

Timescale 6 means 1 real world minute = 6 minutes in game. The default timescale in FO4 is 20 I believe. I keep mine at 6 minumum because a few timed quests in Skyrim would break with a timescale any lower than that, though in Oblivion as well as Fallout 3 and New Vegas I kept it set to 2 and had no problems. I haven't tested Fallout 4 with anything lower than 6 yet so I can't verify if theres any particular timescale that breaks any quests.

alright; cool, thanks, also does the timescale save or do you have to input it every time you launch the game? that might be a dealbreaker for me if I have to input it every time.
You just have to set it once.
I'm 2nd February 2288, but really just scratching the game. Even if I'm not doing survival, I try to sleep/eat as reasonable as possible and to limit fastravel for only when I don't to want to bother walking.

In Skyrim using a similar playstyle my main character story lasted 1200 ingame days, like 3 years and Half ingame time.
Only 1 person in the 90s so far?

this mod makes walking w/o fast travel a lot more fun, just set it on the bare minimum and you'll get a ton more patrols and enemy spawns to keep you occupied, and they'll often clash with eachother so you get truly epic dynamic battles.

Nexus mods are much more of a hassle than walking. CBA that ♥♥♥♥.

uh, how? nexus mod manager does all the work, one click downloads akin to subscribing, then you just activate the junk you wanna use. no diff than using fo's mod manager to do it manually, infact, a lot easier.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say it has been a while since he has been there. Nexus has come a long way, even since skyrim. Comments like that now just make you look Uber lazy-brained.

Even without the CK some mods are just essential to immersion.

Thanks guys for bumping this thread. I can't believe more people have not shared their date. Am i the only one that finds it interesting?

I'm not trying to fish to see who lives their life in fallout. I'm just curious to see if there are any hardcore roleplayers, who sleep everynight and wait 2 or 3 hours everytime they sit at the bar, that have made it a significant way into the decade.

considering the game takes place 20 times faster than normal earth time you'd still need over half a year in game to do that unless u sleep a bunch
I'm being sarcastic. It was better than just saying 'bump'.

That's not a very encouraging way to solicit replies, now is it?

... what is your date?

I'm pretty sure my game is in December of 2290 at this point.
