Blame Bethesda for this, the engine they are using is the same they have been using for decades, and all the games they have made with it suffer from the same bloating problem.
It's from Skyrim though, but since it's the same game mechanics, it might still work, haven't tested it yet...
quicksaves always been and always will be dangerous and unpredictable on any game that uses this engine
that's a known fact since Oblivion
nothing has been improved in that regard by Bethesda
like Joe said "this engine needs to be taken outside and shot!"
No idea. It's just one of the many "quirks" with the game's old engine.
Save corruption causes game to act up in various weird ways when loading that save
but usualy the main sign of a corrupted save is when you constantly CTD in spots you never had problems before yet same spots you visit from a different save work fine even with same mods and game settings
had that happen many times in New Vegas and sometimes in Fallout 3 and Skyrim
and i hear it happens sometimes in F4 not surprising because its same engine just "improved" a little
and i had this usualy happen with Quick Saves
this is usualy why i avoid Quick Save option and just use Hard saves or eventualy Auto saves
I almost always sneak while going through doors but haven't had any issues with that so I don't know. A CTD in a particular place almost always means that there is some conflicting script or script that is trying to load some asset that might have been modified by another mod and is no longer there. I used to get a good deal of CTDs, but I re-installed a lot of my mods and removed some that were especially script heavy for no reason and made worldspace changes for no reason. Since the last few updates (about a month), I've had one CTD in total. The game is more stable than ever for me.
You should always use LOOT for mod order sorting, and read the descriptions and posts about any mod you install. Some mods are made by rookie modders who have accidentally done things they shouldn't have and were discovered by mod users who posted. Usually they are corrected in an update.
Saving with console works better for me
a wild necromancer has appeared!
Looks like someone is trying to level up "Conjuration"
I suggest Skyrim forums instead if you want to perform Necromancy.
