Cloth Needed
This material (( Cloth )) seems to be in very short in ares for supplies needed to build beds.
Most of my settlements are at a stand still because of the need for cloth.
Any suggestions on getting a lot of cloth or were to get more ??

If you're using mods, Spring Cleaning at Nexus, is a good one to get stuff like that. You can scrap just about everything in the game and some things, like hanging paintings and stuff like that will give you cloth, IIRC

Any old, torn clothes you pick up off of raiders and the like can be scrapped for cloth I think. Keep an eye out for teddy bears and anything you would imagine to have cloth.

Pre-war money is everywhere in cashiers.
Newspapers are a good source too.. they are also everywhere.

Pre war money is basically god in this situation

It weighs nothing, is fairly common and is normally found in large quantities

Try banks, cash registers and the occasional safe

Yeah according to the world of FO4, there is enough cloth in 3 packs of cigarettes to make 1 bed, somehow. And enough wood in 4 pencils to make a bench.

And only 10 wood from a 20'+ tall tree by your settlement and 10 steel from a car..

There's a bank near the Super Duper Mart in Lexington that should have several hundred pieces of Pre-War Money.

Connie Abernathy, Lucas Miller, Becky Fallon, Supervisor Greene, Daniel Finch sell shipments, in addition to vendors that have junk (teddy bears) that scraps to cloth. It's absurd that a clothes hanger gives you 1 steel but a whole truck only give you 15.

Have you tried dropping clothing items then scrapping them in workshop mode?

collect pre-war money and every newspaper you can find, by the end you never have to find cloth again.

thx Hmm Money hmm Cloth That's were I when wrong sold tons of it.
All my contacts that sell shippments do not have Cloth

Connie Abernathy is really close to sanctuary - leave via the bridge and turn right - look for the huge power line tower with a house in the middle of it. 'Abernathy farm" (its also a settlement you can have)

Lucas is a wandering merhcant - I see hima alot at tenpines.

Becky falon is the owner of falons in Diamond city

If you havent discovered finch farm or the greenhouse place for Greene then those 3 above are the easiest to find.
