Are you using any inventory sorting mods or mods that change the damage (done and took)?

Try messing with your load order and try putting the sorting mods a little lower in your load order. And of course, keep the mods up to date if you haven't already.

Realistically weightless . . . check that one. I bet it makes things weightless and is loaded after Fallout.esm.

Or you've selected one of the weightless options when setting up Def_INV

Trying it out with weightless disabled and pretty sure I didn't set anything to weightless so will find out in a bit.

for the load order, use LOOT other than that i'm not sure. but the bullet weight is only something like 0.0024 for 100 .308 rounds. the only ammo weight that really makes a difference is missiles, fusion cores and mini nukes

Oh, so would it read weight 0 if I don't have enough of that ammo type. Damn, guess I'll have to play longer to find out if I'm bugged or not. Also, I dl'd loot 7.1 I think but it didn't have fallout 4 in the master list and it kept crashing so I've been trying to do the load order manually.

Nope, still weightless. Picked up a fusion core with 0 weight T.T
