Disease in Survival mode...
I like new Survival mode, but I'm a bit annoyed by disease, almost any action can cause various disease, like drink contaminated water or eat contaminated food, but it's very frustrating that even a bit from any creature that can have very high chance to get sick, even I use Radaway it can cause disease...

Additionally, it's very very hard to get antibiotic, and to build one need lv1 chemist perk, that need science to be 7 or 8, and there is no doctor at very beginning (to get your own one need invest too much perk in later game)

So how do you guys solve this problem, is there any place that contains more antibiotic? or this there any "independent" doctor at beginning? (don't tell go diamond city...)

You can wait out diseases. Takes about 7 days for them to go away on their own. But it's not 100% to resolve.

Yo dawg, I heard you like diseases so I gave your disease a disease.

Simply research each disease. You might be surprised most of them are not so detrimental before you make your way to see the doctor, provided you take the proper precautions of course.

Only diseases you need to watch out for are (in order of severity):

Weakness: Take Additional Damage. Sleep or cure it ASAP

Insomnia + Fatigue (Combo): On their own, not too bad, together, certain death. Require More Frequent Sleep, and require More Sleep. It basically is a ticking clock to death without being cured.

Infection: Take Damage periodically. A lot less dangerous than it sounds. Just keep lots of food or stampaks on you and you can wait this out.

Other diseases don't need to be cured with rare antibiotics, unless you've amassed a tidy sum of them.

There are many places where you can avoid combat so weakness isn't as bad as it sounds.

Also don't forget to take lots of purified water just in case you do get infection.

OK, thanks for advice,
but I really want to know how to cure diseases more effectively not to just avoid them (it seems completely inevitable)
like I want to know where is the first doc in the very beginning of game?

Closest Doctor that 100% Of the time shows up is in that small town... hell, I can't remember the name. The one where you take the GOAT for entrance, with the cemet walls.

Occasionally you can find Doctor Anderson as close as the parking lot of Concord.

There's also a doctor North-West of Arcjet. She's a ghoul and you can usually see her house sitting atop a radiocative pool from pretty far away.

wait out a disease? it feels about a 1 in 10 of getting one just from sleeping even in a nice clean safe bed.
They are far too common and not even linked to activity. plus EVERYTHING makes you thirsty. I always had lots of spare stims in normal play but now I just never use them and heal via food only

Well if you ever do get Chemist You can go to the Red Rocket settlement and explore the little cave right next to it. Plenty of Glowing Mushrooms for you to make antibiotics.

This i was worried about insomnia as i seem to get it alot ( more confused as to what causes it since, i dont really use nukacola or anything like that) most are pretty manageable, i haven't had one that really stopped me cold in my tracks yet.
