Go to a settlement, go into workshop mode, and then point at a settler, look on the bottom of the screen and there is an option [RB} Start a Supply line (i'm using an X-Box 360 controller so instead of right button it may different if you're playing with something else). If it is highlighted, you can assign this settler to a supply line. Not all settlers can be assigned to supply lines though, so it may be grayed out. If so, find a different settler.

you need a perk for this
first level of local leader

Does not work. I have sent settlers to other settlements, and indeed the appear there some time later, so the assignment had been accepted, but - it does nothing. Nothing. The claimed effects do not come to life.

I have both Local Leader perks but I've never seen the option to create a supply line

It's not send to another settlement or move. It's assign supply line. Send to another settlement just moves them from one settlement to the other one permanently.

Once you have figured out supply lines, also pay attention to which two settlements you connect. I've witnessed one of my provisioners take a short cut right across a river, even though there's a bridge literally steps away. Both he and his poor brahmin promptly DROWNED. :steamfacepalm:

You point the cursor at either a settler or if able an automaton and use the right bumper to send them to the point you want them to link to.

I tend to use Starlight Drive-In as my hub.

Yeah...right bumper aint gonna help me much
BizarreMan May 1, 2016 @ 2:20pm
When you have the map up does it give you the option to show supply lines? If so does it have those settlements connected?

When you are in workshop mode, do you not see this?

Hitting Q brings up a list of settlements.
Inardesco May 1, 2016 @ 2:23pm
I have never seen that option when I was in workshop mode. I assume I need unassigned settles for that to show up?

No. It shows up even if all your settlements are full. They just appear greyed out.

Edit: Hmm... seems they've made some changes. Most of my settlements are full but as you can see below, they can still be selected now:

From what I've seen there Kel, when setting up supply lines, it shows any settlment that does not have a direct supply line from the current location. With Move, it gives BS with full locations.

Ok, so I can only assign supply lines when I hover over the settler in question...Great explaining Bethesda -.- !

I'm now testing out but I can't confirm sending a person (Hangman's Alley - Oberland Station)
