So perhaps the key is to ignore the popup?
What makes no sense is that the popup is stating a specific mod is missing, but it isn't.
So friggin' frustrating simply attempting to have a smooth startup ...
Once I added my .esp files back in this file and added the * they worked again in game with no warning that they were missing.
Plugins.txt:
# This file is used by Fallout4 to keep track of your downloaded content.
# Please do not modify this file.
*somemodnamehere.esp
What's happened is that one specific esp file is being removed by FO4 - most likely at launch -- then I get the popup about it being missing. So enable it (it's there in Data folder). Run the game. I assume it would add it to plugins.txt, as it's been added to DLClist.txt.
However looking at plugins.txt after game; nope, not there.
I've checked spelling, etc, etc ...
Interestingly, if it's inserted by me into plugins.txt with the -*-, the file before it will also not get recongizied.
So, for how, will just have to enable it each time I fire up FO4.
Thanks for taking the time to respond. Really appreciate it.
