Annoying blur (edit:solved)
Booted up the game after months of not playing and there's this god awful blur to everything the moment I move. Before you suggest removing 'movement blur' in the advanced tab of the options, I already did that. It remains, much to my disappointment. It's most noticeable when you just tap forward, everything on screen will get this blur for a split second and it will stay for as long as you move. Does anyone else notice this? Is it a new thing? Any tips on how to remove it would be much appreciated.

First Be sure Godrays is set to OFF in the graphics options

then Open Fallout4Prefs.ini at this location:

C:\Users\ < windows user account > \Documents\My Games\Fallout4

scroll down until you see this:

bDoDepthOfField=1

change it to:

bDoDepthOfField=0

Save the Fallout4Prefs.ini file and close it

It will be much clearer after that, I hate DOF and Motion blur in any game myself, and the way bethesda did the Godrays on this particular game is just terrible since it pixelates everything

@=EGC= _Nite_ It didn't work but I did find the culprit. It was the anti aliasing setting, TAA. I just switched it to FXAA and it's fine now. Thank you for the help though :) not many people would go to the effort of such a thorough guide as you typed out. :)

I dont see any blurring with TAA on here is why I didn't mention it

also FXAA maybe clearer but the Jagged edges are more noticeable
