do you guys have this added in the fallout4custom.ini file?
Yes I have and mods are working for me.
I haven't played Fallout 4 since December. I only started again now and i deleted every single mod I had installed from December and modded up my game again. I haven't found a mod yet which doesn't work. Apart from the change in the custom.ini all you need is to go into the mods menu in Fallout and activate the mods there, even the ones you downloaded manually. if you don't do that, your mod's won't be activated. At least the ones which require an esp file.
Don't save while doing this just in case some items you have on your save are dependant on a mod or two.
Once all are deactivated, try and play game, if it loads without ctd thats good!
Then just slowly activate a handful of mods again and try and load game again.
Keep doing this until all your mods are activated again and the game loads properly.
Remember to make sure the Plugins in the NMM for your mods are active and you should be fine forever ever.
I know it's a bit of a ♥♥♥♥ around but it works.
