Thier is a new MODS menu in the game, you need to click on that and login to bethesda.net and activate the Nexus mods in the load order of that window

I'm using NexusModManager and the program told me to reactive all the mods because of the 1.5 patch. Did that and then all is working like a charm.

Please help. Im running quite a few mods that I downloaded from nexus and manually installed. last night had no problems. but tonight (after the game updated) the game CTD as I am trying to load my save. I cant even start a new game (not that I want to). What is the issue?

Same problem here, cannot load previous saves or start a new one after the Survival mode patch :(

Same. I haven't touched the Bethesda Net thing and I don't intend to when the Nexus is the only modding database for me.

Yes I have and mods are working for me.

I haven't played Fallout 4 since December. I only started again now and i deleted every single mod I had installed from December and modded up my game again. I haven't found a mod yet which doesn't work. Apart from the change in the custom.ini all you need is to go into the mods menu in Fallout and activate the mods there, even the ones you downloaded manually. if you don't do that, your mod's won't be activated. At least the ones which require an esp file.

What do you mean reinstall mods?

Guys, you need to deactivate all your mods (don't remove them from your library, just deactivate).

Don't save while doing this just in case some items you have on your save are dependant on a mod or two.

Once all are deactivated, try and play game, if it loads without ctd thats good!
Then just slowly activate a handful of mods again and try and load game again.
Keep doing this until all your mods are activated again and the game loads properly.
Remember to make sure the Plugins in the NMM for your mods are active and you should be fine forever ever.

I know it's a bit of a ♥♥♥♥ around but it works.

Do you have any mods that interact with the UI? Like the DEF_UI mod? Those need to be updated otherwise they'll crash the game on Load/New Game.
