I would love to but, like many others, I'm unable to create an account there currently due to an error. Hopefully this will be resolved soon. If anyone does have access, please feel free to post on this topic there.

This is true, but that too is v1.4 behaviour. I had a Protectron assigned to the Bar in one of my Settlements, purely for the look of it, as I knew I couldn't interact, and I got a steady income from it.

Join the Institute today for working robotic vendors!
I assume you've gained those via a mod though?
Scoob.
No, silly. They are within the Institute. They are working hard on selling me the same things over and over. And they are synths so.. they ARE "robots" and they give me the barter options just fine. You guys just need to stop relying on trashy junkbots and join the Institute where all the advanced things are~
Did i mention that we have a night and day system inside the Institute? It's really pretty. So come join, really.
Scoob.
They should just replace the robot vendor dialogue with "NANI O SHIMASUKA?" for all the use they provide.
well gen 1 and 2 are robots 3's are more cyborg clones made with a 3d printer
(and yes cloneing tissue with 3d printing is a real thing)
Shh shh shhh! That is an Institute secret! Don't go blabber mouthin' that to just everyone!
*covers what you said with her hands, hoping no one else sees it*
I've done the math before but lost the numbers, but anyway, the institute pumps out one new synth every something like 1 minute and 10 seconds - assuming that is the only production facility.
So where is the synth army hiding? I'm asking for my friend. He has this cool robot he wants to show them.
