Report a translation problem
Desktop, I built the PC.
Yeah I use one of those compressed air dust blowers a few times a month.
I believe it is 550W
^ I took a screenshot of the information afterburner provided after the freezing. You can clearly see some dips in the graphs for that time, although I 'm not sure what they indicate. I have to do some research I suppose.
As for the fan, turning it off auto and to 100% didn't seem to change anything.
Thanks for the advice, I'll try that next time I have a moment (the patience) to. Apreciate the help.
If the problem seems to go away, the issue is that texture fetches to VRAM are not occuring fast enough to keep up with demand because of hard drive latencies.
You might improve matters in this case by moving the game to an SSD, preferably with the operating system on it as well.
