how to get fast caps in fallout 4

looking to see what is the fastest way to get caps.

Raid dungeons and get as much loot as possible. It will sell for a couple thousands each time.

The amount of perks/money invested for trading posts take a long time to regain. It's really not that useful in the short term.

Go to Lexington. Near the Super Duper Mart is a blown up building that was a bank. Go inside, grab the prewar money. Jump out the back to the ruined car and in the duffle bag is even more money.

Put on your best charisma gear, pop some Grape Mentats, and sell the money. That's where I'm making money in my survival beta play through.

one good way is to make Jet and sell it; you need Fertilizer (you find it around, and there are a few places you can buy shipments of it) and plastic (which is available all over the place). Cheap to make and sells for 25 caps each (at 10 effective-charisma). And it only weighs 0.1 lbs.

Another way is to have extra water at your settlements; any water supply over the amount of settlers gets put into your workbench as Purified Water, they sell for about 10 caps (at 10 Charisma), but they weigh 1 lb. Good for selling to Trashcan Carla when she drops by Sanctuary, for example.

Actually, even for non-melee, I don't tend to use all the bullet types I find (especially in survival beta), so sell loads of them. .38 I never use any longer, so there's lots of money. If I have 5mm, those can make quite a profit (assuming I can carry it).

Any water beyond what is necessary for the upkeep (The water required for each settlement and for crops) of the settlement is deposited in the Workshop under the Aid tab. You won't really get an excess unless you have a lot more than the requirement.

thats why i said set up 4 or more
