this will completely get rid of shadows but it makes the game too bright imo.
make a backup of your your fallout4prefs.ini in your "documents" folder and make the edits below:
iShadowMapResolution=512
uiShadowFilter=3
uiOrthoShadowFilter=3
fBlendSplitDirShadow=999999.0000
iMaxFocusShadows=0
iMaxFocusShadowsDialogue=0
fShadowDistance=0.0000
fDirShadowDistance=0.0000
iDirShadowSplits=1
if you don't like then just overwrite it with your backup to switch back.
That will just get him to start another thread asking for Fallout 4 for Mac
And not answer my question, but hey,he prefered to be a dingus so joke's on him HA!
What's a dingus? Was he the guy that ruled over China way back when?
also he needs to disable Godrays with this command, they are heavy on performance and they look like crap anyway on any settings cause of too much pixelation
bVolumetricLightingEnable=0

Im really confused on how to install this =(
(On the nexus site, there is a tool called nexus mod manager (NMM) download it, install it)
then, once u installed nmm, run it, and choose fallout 4. Then, click "add file" once in nmm, click the zip files u downloaded (wasteland512) put it under moddels and textures (It will at first be under unassigend tab)
Once you got all the main files into Nexus mod manager (nmm) you gotta install them by right clicking on each file, and clicking install.
It is recommended you use 7zip, but winrar would work just as well.
If you are using the 1.5 beta, you gotta close nmm once the mod is installed, go to appdata>local>fallout4>plugins.txt and add "*Wastenland512.esp" with the little star upfront. So it will detect your unofficial mod. (DO NOT RUN NMM AGAIN OR IT WILL RESET YOUR PLUGINS.TXT, just run via normal fallout4.exe)
you have to make the file read-only once you finished editing
By "add files" do you mean "Add Mod from File"?
Also, I have to add each zip file individually?
